Company: About us
We produce transfer paper for narrow fabrics, sometimes referred by people around the atlas as sublimation transfers for textile printing, because our product is not only used for textiles products but a variety of general textile products produced using man-made fibres, especially polyester.
If you have found us by searching you have used other descriptions such as transfer paper, narrow textile printing or even man-made fibre printing – the list is endless!
Patterns or unicolour (all over colour) are printed onto a multitude of fabric types:- tapes, ribbons, taffetas, satins, gross grains and petershams, wire edge ribbons, metallic ribbons, bows and roses, waist bandings, bindings hanger tapes , pipings, bias bindings, stretch valour, laces, shoelaces or braids, elastic including brace or suspender elastic. Trimmings especially sportwear trimmings which are very popular.
The process is a specialist printing technique and is called sublimation dye which is printed onto special quality transfer paper, applied through a rotary machine by a heat transfer process.
Unicolour or all over colour printing has been used successfully when woven label printing as the dye sublimation effect is harnessed to print colour onto the polyester but during the same process avoids colouring of the rayon jaquard area of the label thereby providing an alternative method to producing woven labels than carrying high yarn stocks for multiple choice of label base colour.
Our products are also used to produce pet products, dog leads, cat leads and collars, fashion accessories, promotional products and decorative products.
Another important area of use becoming popular is for printing of security branding- security Lanyards and security barriers giving visual warnings or movement directions in busy public areas, as well as providing opportunity for corporate logos and advertising.
